Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actor who became famous for the role of Buffy Summers. Her other characters include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the telefilm Nightingales and the short-lived NBC Show with similar name, Erica Paget as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Swinson, a Californian nativeSwanson began acting at a very young age. She began her acting career as an actress in commercials. In 1984 she made her debut in a screen show of the sitcom on NBC called It's Your Turn. The following year, in 1986's romance comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan was the first to debut on the big screen. Her most famous feature is her blonde hair and the breathless voice she has. Recently Swan has been acting in secondary roles. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
