Jennifer Garner was born on the 17th of April, 1972 at Houston, Texas but was raised in Charleston, West Virginia. Her father, William John Garner, worked as a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann, her mother taught at a local college. Wanting to follow his father's path, she graduated with an education in chemical engineering. Since she wanted to be an actress she went on a trip to New York. In her Broadway performances were followed by work at a local restaurant. In the TV series "Felicity," she had one brief appearance. (It was on this show that she got to know their husband Scott Foley. Garner was given her break by the action-thriller "Alias." Her first main role as a lead actress was on the critically acclaimed romantic comedy "13 Going on 30." Garner played a teen trapped in the 30-year old body. Garner picked Gary Winick to direct the film, and they continued to look for other projects together until his passing away in the year 2011. Garner became an ambassador of Save the Children U.S.A. in the year 2009. The job entails the promotion of national nutritional literacy, education and early learning. Garner, who has served on the organization's board since 2014, serves as an advocate for early learning. As an ambassador she visits frequently with families that belong to Early Steps to School Success the program which trains parents on how to help young children to learn.

Leven Rambin, an American actress best famous for playing the look-alike twins Ava Benton and Lily Montgomery in the soap-opera All My Children. One child was strapped onto my back while another crawled around in the playpen. I worked 12 hour days for months sanding and removing wallpaper, with one child. Ha!
