Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is most well-known for her role in movies such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah as well as Geostorm (2017). In the latter film, Cornish was awarded the first Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Her father was Jack Gilpin star of such films as Adventureland (2009) and her mother was Ann McDonough of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) and other films. Betty Gilpin's parents were supportive and pushed her to become an actor. When it came time for her to attend college, she chose Fordham College where she learned to develop her skills. After graduating, Gilpin began acting in Off-Broadway plays and auditioned for television and film roles. She landed a guest spot in the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and followed by small parts as a guest on Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin has landed a lot of TV role-playing roles during the next few years until her breakthrough came in 2013 when she was asked to play a regular character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, was featured in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie before the show ended on June 15, the 15th of June, 2015. Gilpin played the role in True Story, a thriller with a mystery element.
