One child was strapped onto my back while another crawled around in the playpen. I worked 12 hour days for months sanding and removing wallpaper, with one child. Ha! Everything was starting to fall into place, however there was still a long way to go. It was going to take an enormous amount of effort and my personal favorite brands to furnish this home. In order to stay within my budget I took my sons along with me as I searched for gems hidden in estate sales.
